I guess I’ll get this started. I thought it was a good conclusion based on what had led up to it.

Frustrating show. Criminal underuse of McGregor.

It pains me to say it but this show was just not very good. What an enormous case of blue balls.

I agree. The best episode of the series, but that was a low bar. They are set up for another season, but I don’t know how that gets done without more Vader.

Finale was the best episode, but the whole thing was a tease.

There is a decent story in there, but they had to shoehorn superfluous characters in to make it fit the corporate narrative.

The finale was the sort of episode the entire season should have been. Deborah Chow does good action scenes as a general rule of thumb. This episode also had far less of the stench of Kathleen Kennedy on it, probably because there wasn't room for her to "improve" the story.

A strong finish to a weak season.

I have a feeling that the original scripts that Kennedy flushed for being too dark would have made a better series, if only because the revised ones gave Lucasfilm a year and a half to screw things up.

The Finale had a lot of great things in it, but it felt like it should have been longer. And what we saw at the end, I wish we could have gotten more than what we got of that.

Needed a longer, and less interrupted Obi-Wan vs. Darth Vader. But I enjoyed their dialogue once the fight was decided.

Agreed. The whole series felt rushed. But at the same time, they included a bunch of stuff that didn’t need to be in there to tell the story that everyone wanted to hear. Frustrating.

No worries. Wasn’t sure what the protocol was but there was a spoiler and other stuff getting posted in Ep 5 so I figured it made sense to get going.

Totally forgot this was coming out today. I'm amazed at how unexcited I am for a Kenobi show.

Great final episode… that Vader and Obi-Wan duel was fantastic. They also finally used some of the older scores which made some scenes better, not sure why they held off for so long. The last two were the best two episodes and that has got to do with Stanton (Oscar winning writer) being the guy on the last two.
Will be interesting to see if we actually get a second season and what could potentially be in it.

Wish we could have gotten an explanation on how Reva survives? That seemed lazy in my opinion. Also should have just had much less of her and more of Darth from the 1st episode.

Being a strong black female is armor enough.

I don’t know about y’all, but Disney Star Wars has made me see how white and privileged and male and heterosexual I really am. I must repent.

This might be the most glowing review I’ve seen on this. I couldn’t finish the first episode. Did I give up too soon?

I don't know. The last two episodes were decent. I don't know if I'd slog through the first 4 episodes again to get there.

First four were weak, last two were good. Overall it was mediocre and should have had a much higher budget. Some scenes felt super cheap and a lot of the dialogue seemed so bland.
I would agree with the above statement.

Nah, you must find a strong female to lead you, like Aunt Beru.

In KKs star wars, all the women are of strong character and all the men are inherently flawed. Run through the characters in your head. Who am I forgetting?

Just like every other disney plus series, halfway through the season I was wondering why the hell are we even doing this. But as usual, they finish strong enough to keep you on the leash.

That last 30 mins was great. The voice going back and forth between vader and anakin was chilling.

I just finished it, and I thought they closed really strong. Hell of an episode and it sets up nicely for next season.

The Vader and Obi-Wan fight was incredible. Seeing Vader get tossed around like that was amazing, and if anyone could go toe to toe with Vader its Obi-Wan.

I agree the Vader/Anakin dialogue was great. The shots of him and the lightsabers reflecting on his helmet was wild.

I'm also glad Owen and Beru got some more screen time, and it showed they were willing to put their lives on the line to protect Luke. They know how important he is rather than a burden like it's portrayed in ANH.

Overall 3 out of the 6 episodes were solid, and it did a lot more good things than bad. I can't wait to see what happens in the next season. Up next, Andor.

what a damn tease at the end, man.

SPOILERS

I really wanted to see Qui-Gon talk about Anakin

I was hoping the "You didn't fail Anakin" line came from Qui Gon but it was cool coming from Hayden. Just seemed kind of crap to tease it in RoTS, tease it in multiple episodes of this series, and then QGG has one line.
