My hunch is that this group will be unlikely to vote someone as the winner if they were voted out at one point... but it might really depend on who is in the finals. If the jury feels like two people rode coattails and someone that came back from Extinction played their arse off, it might happen.
Still, I would bet heavily against the eventual winner coming from Extinction.
ETA: I'm glad Survivor isn't canceled... I still have something on TV to look forward to.

Agreed but they could make the final 3. What is interesting is if the extinction island people are on the jury. That would change things.

They should be.
I think that could maybe swing a jury toward someone like Ethan who will have made good relationships with them and has a great story/message.
I still think it won't make a huge difference though with all winners.

Just watched, and they did show Ben signaling to them and mouthing Rob just as they were leaving for Tribal. You could also tell by Adam’s body language at tribal they were voting for Rob, though not sure the girls picked up on it.
Yul and Sophie have been my favorite players so far this season, putting aside my love for Parvati. If they can both survive until the merge and hook back up, they’ll be tough to beat. But it’s really anyone’s game. The only two I don’t think have much of a shite are Ben and Michelle, but Ben could go on another immunity idol streak I guess. I don’t see Parvati winning either. Rob is the only one she’s really connected with all season.

A very anti-climatic tribal. I felt they were going after Rob all the way.

That was a brilliant play.
I was really thinking Jeremy was going to use his advantage, then Denise was going to play her temp idol from Sandra and still vote Sandra out. She did waste an idol, but it was still great.

Don’t understand why she gave Jeremy an idol if she voted for Sandra anyway though. Guess maybe she was concerned the other three would split the vote, or maybe thought Sandra was hoodwinking her?
Brilliant play nonetheless, and the look on Sandra’s face was worth it. Really instinctive play from Denise to smell a rat with Sandra’s offer as well.
