She plays a powerful sorceress who turns a bunch of men into pigs. i bet they are Do you think we will see it play out on screen like in the actual tale? Odysseus forcing her by point of sword to turn his men back?

I am being contrarian on purpose here just for laughs. I'm hoping this is good, id really like to go see this one in the theater which is a rarity for me.

people that are on the blue team or the red team and they must follow orders

That's a bit of an over generalization.

The production quality I'm sure will be high, an entertaining epic & make money. Even as silly as the trailers have been. Some just don't care for a modern retelling. It's not all about red & blue & following orders.

I want all films to make money & theaters to remain open. Unfortunately I'm not going to contribute to them all due to Hollywood's misdeeds, which I can't personally reward.

Also LOTR?

Snyder did well with most of his castings. The only one that was just ok for me was Eisenberg as Luthor. But Cavill, Godot, Affleck, etc were homeruns

While I have professed my doubts about the movie, I will do this...it's just much more likely I'll be doing it from my couch a few months after its release and not in a theater.

What an intimidating soldier Ellen is

I'm going to see this in theaters because it's Nolan and I'm sure it'll be a fun ride.

But I will laugh when I hear Tom Holland say "dad". Hopefully, the Nigerian Helen isn't in the movie too much, as she shouldn't be based on the actual story.

I really want this to be great, but my interest level from the time it was announced to now has gone down far more than in any other instance of a Nolan movie.

I just can't get over some of that dialogue from the trailers. Why would those snippets be shown if it's not reflective of the dialogue within the rest of the movie? That's much more concerning to me than Lupita being Helen of Troy or Page having a small role. In the latter case, I think it's more just Nolan doing Page a favor due to her no longer getting roles, for obvious reasons, and his having a relationship with her from the Inception days.

I do still hate the idea of Travis Scott being in it though. He just seems like a POS. The Astroworld deal made me kinda hate that guy

Correct.

But when Gadot was announced, all I saw was modestly chested woman with no muscle mass. . .and like 4 lines in a Fast and Furious movie

Easy to look back NOW and say it was a good pick. But I didn't like it back then

I agree. I'm just saying Zack knew what he was doing because it worked out quite well. Gadot was good in BvS and her solo film. They really fricked up with the sequel.

The sequel was so fricking bad.

It made me hate Kristen Wiig. . .and that is a terrible place to be

Samantha Morton is an incredibly good actress. Made me sad when The Serpent Queen was cancelled because she was absolutely in her element int that.

She played Mary Queen of Scots in the Cate Blanchet Elizabeth: The Golden Age movie and in Minority Report. That's probably where most Americans have seen her outside of The Walking Dead.

This statement is ridiculous. 99% of Hollywood is Blue. If this was the case almost no one here would watch anything.

I will not support some shite where they go out of their way to inject some BS storyline or actors for whatever reason. Its the same reason I didn't watch the female Ghostbusters.

Best known as the dream factory, Hollywood also echoes a certain chocolate factory that offers all-access golden tickets to fortunate boys and girls. Filmmakers who’ve had unforeseen success don’t get chocolate — they get a golden ticket to direct a passion project the next time around. Just ask Christopher Nolan.

“One hundred percent,” Nolan says when asked if he’s experienced the phenomenon. “Every now and again, if you’re really lucky and something really clicks, if your work catches a wave, that happens. After ‘The Dark Knight’ we were able to do ‘Inception’ and after ‘Oppenheimer’ was such a success, far beyond what we hoped for, we had the opportunity to do ‘The Odyssey.’ ”

In an exclusive new interview with Kenneth Turan, Nolan details how he made his latest film:

I had no idea this loser was also in it. Nolan is simply thumbing his nose at the public.
