Did you see the clip with Homer Simpson writing the Odd Sea on the boat? Lol

You don't know the meaning of that word or what you're even trying to claim. You've not seen ONE of his videos.
You're making my point. This guy's multitude of videos don't percolate out of your little bubble.

You just don't like anyone talking bad about Nolan, I guess.
I honestly don't give a shite about Nolan. He's made some good movies. I'm just chuckling at your flameout over absolute nothing shite.

I audibly moaned in the theater when Zoey showed up in that scene. She looked incredible
That was definitely her hottest scene. She looked better in the white tank top than she did in the catsuit.

It’s not my flame out. It’s nearly 3/4 of 1 million down votes to the movie’s last official YouTube trailer.
And that random neck beard? He speaks like five languages and has degrees in history. And being Italian, I think he has a better idea more of what the Odyssey means then some random yokel here on TD.

Yeah this is where some anonymous nobody on our tiny board spouts off about how irrelevant YouTubers with millions of followers are
This is just his way of defending this nonsense movie.

Here’s an interesting interview with Nolan in the Telegraph. This was his response to the online “controversy”
Telegraph article
quote:
Was Nolan taken aback? “Comes with the territory,” he says, grinning serenely, before lifting his cup and saucer and taking a theatrical sip. “But look,” he adds, “these conversations that happen before people see the film – they’re always irrelevant, because no one having them knows what the film actually is yet.” Besides, he says, he was aware from day one that The Odyssey was exactly the sort of project liable to stir up strong commentary – in good faith and bad – about how it should properly be handled. “But remember,” he goes on, “I spent 10 years of my life dealing with Batman.
“When I came on to Batman Begins, writers and artists had been working on this beloved character for almost 65 years, and a lot of freighted thoughts were out there about what he represents. And what I learnt over my time on that trilogy is you can’t worry about any of that at all. What you have to do is honour the original text by interpreting it in the strongest way you personally can.”

Unfortunately, he’s the one who carved out this territory. By intentionally going woke with the cast & bizarre choice for telling the story, he chose this, not the Internet.
Christian Bale isn’t Lupita Nyongo.
Margan Freeman isn’t Ellen Page.

"What the Odyssey means"???
My man, you have lost the plot altogether.
Not that it matters, but what the frick does being Italian have to do with having "a better idea of what the Odyssey means"?
Just absolute clown shite here the last few pages.

Not even remotely, what the story is about is not about. It’s not a feminist manifesto on the old world treatment of women.

And you're certain that is what this iteration of the telling will be?

Just a friendly reminder that you haven't seen the movie.

TBH I bought into the online hype and wasn't too excited
But then I saw Tom Holland (author/historian, not actor) praise it and now I'm back on board

The translation is from a furry legged feminist. You figure it out.
