Yea, This guy must have been blacked out drunk during the Beauty and the Beast and Jungle Book releases.

They’re replacing the song with a Beyoncé song

Where are you reading that?

now that i've watched BvS and justice league, all i see is alfred singing this song instead of a lion.
kenny irons did a pretty good job with it.

It sucks they cut a really good song from a cartoon full of really good songs.
But be prepared would probably be hard to flow into a live action Lion King.

"They need to have a new end credits song," said John. "There’s going to be four of our songs in the film, from the original: 'Can You Feel The Love Tonight?' 'Hakuna Matata,' 'I Just Can’t Wait To Be King,' and 'Circle of Life'. And then there will be an end, closing song, and we’ve been speaking to Beyoncé’s people and hopefully Tim and I and her can cook up something. That’s going out in 2019 as well. And it will be great to work with her. So we will see."
So instead of “Be Prepared” being one of the main songs, Beyoncé’s song will be.

It’s great they brought back James Earl Jones for Mufasa, but they also needed to bring back Jeremy Irons for Scar
If Rogue One is anything to go by, I’d much rather they bring back Irons than JEJ. JEJ sounded like he was on the verge of death in that movie. I think Idris Elba would have made a fine Mufasa, and would serve as a nice reflection from Shere Khan. And if you’re not going with Jeremy Irons as Scar, go with Benedict Cumberbatch. I don’t buy that they should all be black anymore than everyone in the Jungle Book should have been played by Indians.

they probably did tests and realied the new Scar voice actor can’t even come close to the Irons performance.
Actually Jeremy Irons didn’t sing most of Be Prepared. That was Jim Cummings.

I was skeptical already when I heard Beyoncé was cast in this movie . Now I’m really debating on if this movie will do the original source material any justice by them eliminating Be Prepared.
The initial red flag for me Billy Eichner and Seth Rogan as Timon and Pumba respectively. Just two awful choices, Rogan being the worst casting in the movie. I initially thought that Louis CK and Patton Oswalt should portray them, but I’d substitute CK with Bill Burr after the #MeToo.

Sounds like you always cared b/c you completely made a up a reason in your head for why it was cut.

My second favorite Villain Song.
In the Dark of the Night from Anastasia is the best. I think Kesley Grammer songs it

That's one hell of a sentence

Beyonce's song is going to be an end credit song. It isn't "replacing" Be Prepared.

I didn’t say it was replacing it in the scene but of it is going to be one 5 songs they’re going to have instead of Be Prepared.

I distinctly remember the exact moment I realized what that scene was all about. I'd seen that shite 10+ times as a kid then one day watching something on TV about WW2 when I was 11 I was like "Oh, it's Nazis".

God no. I'm exhausted with Cumberbatch. We do not need him in everything. He's not that great yet people treat him like he's the next Carey Grant.

Meh, I feel like she has a pretty good voice for adult Nala

Yeah, same. I have absolutely no shits to give about who voices Nala. She's a totally irrelevant character. And the girl who voiced young Nala in the cartoon sounded a little ghetto anyways. "What's so great about da water hohhh?"
