New Dragon ball series announced (Dragon Ball: Daima)

Set for fall 2024 release.
Not sure how I feel about this one. It’s apparently a different universe/reality from the old sagas

I mean Dragonball was about every meaningful experience Gokus childhood supposedly had to offer and includes young Bulma
Vegeta...we have a good basic idea...lots of him and Napa...blowing up weaklings all over the galaxy and reporting to Frieza
Chalk this up under something no one wanted or asked for
Also why go backwards at this point

So they’re going to do GT all over again but make it cannon this time?
But why? There’s good shite in the DBS manga that hasn’t made it to screen yet and events after the the past couple of movies to implement. Damn it I’m ready for Piccolo and Gohan to start wrecking shite with their new power-ups and stop sitting on the sidelines.

I just finished up the magna or up to it’s latest release and the Moro arc has probably been my favorite Dragonball related thing since the Cell arc and to see it’s still not getting animated is disappointing.
Hell they didn’t even have to do the Moro arc just yet, give us a movie with the U6 sayians maybe have Vegeta and Goku visit them with Vegeta training Cabba and Goku training Caulifla and Kale.
According to the DBZ subreddit there were leaks a bit ago describing exactly this and that after this one shot ends Super will start back up so hopefully it’s all true

Why are they not making the next story in the manga with granola and purple vegeta?? Feel like I’ve been waiting on that forever

I agree. They shouldn't go backwards. But they went forward so much that they're literally fighting gods. I enjoyed Super well enough but even then thought to myself where else can they go? They made everyone so strong there is nowhere else to go. And I'm not going to lie, at some point... does anyone else get tired of them always find some super new ultra power source they're able to tap into? It's always built as the ultimate power.......until the next season when they find something else that makes everything in the previous seasons look like small potatoes.
eta: I'm also going to make the Captain Obvious call and say they'll have to change any interactions they have between young Goku and Bulm a fair amount. Anyone that has watched the original Dragon Ball will know there was a fair amount of stuff that would never, ever be put on our screens today.

The show should get back to technical fighting, new techniques, and training the up and coming generation.
It sucks when every arc introduces a power up that is obsolete seemingly a month later.
Goku was powerful for like 250 episodes as just a regular Saiyan
Then Super Sayian happened and yes it was amazing, but since then the only way to generate a reaction is a new hairdo or colored aura.
Gohan going SS2 was the last power up that meant something because like SS it wasn't exactly something people saw coming
SS3 was introduced in an epic but pointless way and immediately became obsolete with both GT and Super. In a way it became diluted when Gotenks was able to reach it just by seeing it done once.

When in doubt throw in a Fusion
Two of my favorite moments wasn't even a new technique...it was a new application of it.
Instant Transmission Kamehameha and Kamehameha Surfing.
I also think the show needs to get back to letting everyone shine. Every arc shouldn't lead to a new Goku moment.
Vegeta has earned his right to get a clean top billed baddie dub.
Gohan and Piccolo got unearned powerups recently but since you did it pay it off with additional arcs.
Piccolo deserved the power up as like a lifetime achievement award but Gohan...I'm sick of Gohan based on how he has been written
Gohan has twice now been written as the most powerful person on the planet
SS2 Cell Gohan...immediately followed by Great Sayaman
I forgave him as hard as that was...when he reached Mystic Gohan...which was followed by Professor Gohan in GT so weak Baby wanted almost nothing to do with him...or scholar Gohan who got wrecked by base level Frieza

The human fighters need an upgrade.
Since they are true earthlings, it would sense make for them to protect earth.
Instead Goku has to come and save them each time.
No point having them on these shows being so weak and useless.
