There's a Frontline (best show on TV) documentary called 'Facing Death' that just became available. Caught it last year when it aired. Follows a terminally ill man and his wife as they try to seek assisted suicide for him. Simply presented, but powerful and has stayed with me for a long time.

I know, but I think he's describing The Suicide Tourist episode, which is also on Instant. I've seen it and it is indeed very powerful. Facing Death seems to be about something a little different. Can't go wrong with any Frontline however.

trailer

watched Wasabi on instant

2001 French flick(subtitles) set in France/Japan, decently terrible.(5 out of 10))..as in a Great Japanese chick really makes the movie watchable.

otherwise cliche story, bad humor, 80's-ish over the top stunts john woo crap, mainly just tolerable, but I couldn't take my eyes off the girl.

I love it... I mean in this thread we do not have many of the newer releases on it... this is mainly the harder to find stuff peopleare looking for that they like.

Doc Martin (a British TV series about a London doctor who takes up practice in a small Cornish village) is very, very good.

"The Secret in their Eyes" (2010 Best Foreign Film) is now on. Superb all around, and the soccer stadium scene is about as well filmed as it gets.

Also will second "The Aura", in which the same actor stars. Each is a better thriller than anything I can think of coming out in the US outside of Nolan.
