Anyone watching this? It’s so bad it’s good. Growing up with two brothers and a bunch of male cousins, we played stuff like that all the time. Kinda of a cheesey nostalgic combo of goodness.

I couldn’t stop watching it for like an hour the other day.

My kids loved it and it was goofy enough for me to enjoy. Good so simple it is brilliant concept

It’s great for some mindless background TV.

The announcer is trying too hard to be like MXC, except unlike MXC, the announcing on FIL is the worst part of the show.

It’s pretty much my only goal in life now.
After 2 episodes I was Showing my wife that I could Easily jump 6 feet without a running start.

Why does everything look CGI in that room?
It's like they're jumping to a B-movie prop in the 90s.

Watched a few episodes over the past two days, good mindless television but bad game show television

The show is actually called “Floor is Lava”. They left off the leading article for some reason, which is incredibly infuriating.

...“Floor is Lava.”
Commas and periods go inside closing quotes.

Does someone have a pic of Felicia the nurse? She was pretty fricking hot.

All it’s missing is the hosts from that old Japanese wipeout game show on spike tv. Those guys were hilarious and would make FIL pretty enjoyable.
Obviously today’s cancel culture wouldn’t allow the jokes this duo pulled though nowadays 10-15 years later so instead you get the nerdy host of FIL

Just started watching this, reminds me of "Ow! My Balls" from Idiocracy, just good ol' fashion mindless entertainment.
It also helps if you skip the intros before every group.

It’s like No is Warrior but not as hard and they will sometimes just find 3 random schmos in terrible shape to do it.
This show seems like they were 100% making stuff up on the fly.
Why do some episodes only have 2 team?
My favorite part is that when someone goes into the lava they always show them sinking down and then never show them getting out. The commitment to absurdity is fantastic.
Do they pause the timer while they fish the contestant out?
Also, I feel Like people forgot how to swing or do monkey bars.

Especially The Bostonians. God, those "Bros" were awful to listen to...going on and on about Tom Brady and Larry Bird like some satire of Boston guys.
It's sort of fun to watch douchebags bite the dust.
Nice for the announcer to say, "how do you like dem apples?" after one of them hit the lava.

I am convinced that this concept could take off in a similar way to axe throwing bars, Top Golf, etc...

My girlfriend and her family were watching this the other day and I think I caught some people with scuba gear assisting contestants when they would fall in the orange soda water. Probably swim them off camera and have them hop out of the pool.

Played it as a kid and had high hopes for this show. Watched 2 episodes and it's just not that great. The cheesy commentary is just too much, and the rooms just aren't that interesting.

Unfortunately I’ve been thinking way too hard about where the contestants go. I even so much as to googled it. The only thing I could find was a producer saying that it was a secret. The show may be bad, but I find it entertaining and can’t stop watching.
