Just the opposite - keeper. You thought she was referring to science fiction movies. She was actually referring to shitty SJW based movies.

Does your wife have an issue with you nerding out on Star Wars stuff?
Whether she wants to participate in your nerd affair with Star Wars isn’t a big deal IMO.
If she tries to get in the way or stop your nerd affair with Star Wars bc you are an adult and Star Wars is stupid waste of time then that’s a different animal all together.

BTW: As soon as a saw the black dude, I immediately said "THAT guy will be dead within 20 minutes"
That is my experience with futuristic / space movies. Black dude dies right away.

To be honest up until like 5 years ago I had not seen any of them either. One of my sons loves star wars so I started watching the series with him. I like it, don't love it.

My best friend never liked Star Wars until I took him to see TFA. After that, he bought all 6 original films on digital and played/beat Knights of the Old Republic.

When I started dating my wife she hadnt seen any Star Wars movies.
I told her that in order to marry me she would have to watch all of them, even the shitty ones, in the order that they were released.
Years pass and I start getting prodded by her family and mine on when im going to pop the question.
She still hadnt seen the movies.
So finally she says to me, "Lets just relax this weekend and watch the Star Wars movies"
And we did
The next week i bought the ring, the next month i proposed on a trip that we had already been planning.
Some things are important in a marriage, im sorry that you didnt make sure that Star Wars was one of them.
