The Nicholas Cage-less series was about a DREAMer who constantly reminded the audience that her family were illegal immigrants.

As dumb as it sounds I think I would be more excited for National Treasure 3 than any movie in recent memory.
Hopefully it’s still planning on happening - haven’t heard much recently.

The National Treasure movies were great and unique. They still hold up well today. I’d love to see Cage playing the same character, but let Cage really do some exotic acting instead of the mostly flat character he played in NT1&2

Were they searching for green cards?

I watched a few episodes because it was filmed in BR, but it was terrible. This doesn't surprise me at all.

Why do you do this to yourself? It's going to be miserable preaching of wokeness.
A sequel to a popular movie that doesn't completely shite on American history and its founders?
There's only one way it can go...and that's to shite on the US and it's founders.
Expect a consultation with the 1619 project folks.
National Treasure type movies are low-hanging fruit for the social justice folks and they'll bury their activist claws in deep, with permission from Kathleen Kennedy-types looking to cleanse themselves.

I remember talk of it being made, I had no idea they actually had a finished product and put episodes out there yet.
Never heard 1 word about it. No buzz. No twitter trends, nothing.

Dreamer needs to be a tranny, then people will watch.

Then you're either stupid or deliberately ignorant.
No clue how you can't see the large amounts of political trash injected into everything.
It's been radically different even from a mere 10 years ago and even then they still were injecting left wing philosophy and dogma into their writing. It's on a whole new level now.

It was a great idea for a series that was ruined by woke agendas pushing DACA “undocumented” characters that contributed nothing to the plot.
And they made it slightly more ridiculous than it should be. They just drive over to San Antonio and drive back to BR without blinking an eye. Oh, Memphis too. The Memphis storyline fit but the Alamo storyline was terrible.
The villain and her henchmen were just too stupid to enjoy. It could have been a pretty cool series if they didn’t make it like they did.

Writing was ridiculously bad and the acting wasn't much better. Dollar store Justin Timberlake (love interest) was probably the worst.
The writing is straight to TV movie level. Which works if you make the show for kids. But they make the characters adults, drinking, working at a bar, etc. I also think that during the show might be the only time anyone has gone to Squeaky Pete's in downtown BR.

Big fan of the original movies. Forced myself to watch the entire show once I started it.
Hammering home what everyone else is saying here..It was so bad. Barely any redeeming qualities of the show.
Pretty bad acting with an even worse script. I kept watching with the hopes that Nick Cage would show up and save it... I see why he stayed far away

Yes. Just awful. Him singing that song at Graceland to distract everyone. And then the song he wrote to sing at the bar..even worse. Anything he did was just terrible.
I think my personal favorite was the FBI agent getting stabbed by the comically huge sword then somehow surviving lol
