So, apparently there is a conspiracy theory going around by a challenge "insider" that John is blocking Cara and, by default, Paulie, from coming on this season and next season. LINK
The story is really sketchy and basically only has one "source" and fricking tweets from Jemmye to back it up. They're apparent claiming that John has sway over production decsions (I could actually see that, but not much) and that mtv "rigged" this season for John to win. One claim even said there was only supposed to be 1 winner this season and since John finished 2nd to Jenny, they did boy-girl winners.
That was apparently totally debunked by multiple people, including TJ. So that's how accurate this whole story is.
The report also claims that War of the Worlds 2 was "rigged" for John...a competition he was booted from fairly early on... So there's that.
Cara has really become an annoying player and she's even worse with Paulie.
The whole story seems very thin and made up of jealous, irrelevant people like Jemmye chiming in. I'm personally fine with Cara and Paulie not coming back for a while. It seems like she needed a break after the last time she was on.

This is the early speculation on next season, which is thought to stay filming in September in a foreign country. That means the show won't air until probably next Feb or March.

I wonder if they’d ever consider doing a short-term fill in like Mark Long has proposed? (he wants it to be more social than competitive) I wonder if they could lure in some more OGs this way. Test them, Quarantine Them together in a distant locale in the US and film for a few weeks ala Champs Vs Stars.
Because as of now, it seems the only OGs we’ll ever see are the usuals (CT, Wes, John, Anessa) and the Occasional appearance from Brad or Derrick.

If this season starts as scheduled, I assume they will never leave the house to go to bars or clubs. Which means people will go absolutely nuts since they don’t have a chance to blow off steam.
Also it pretty much guarantees next season is in Turkey since there are so many restrictions for Americans around the world, and they’ve filmed two seasons there.

So started watching The Gauntlet 2, (season 11), which also happened to be the first season TJ hosted and I had forgotten about Jo’s, (from Real World San Fran), meltdown in episode one of that season which is probably the most ridiculous one ever.
She called the police on everyone in the house after she lost her mind because everyone was drinking and having a good time.

You have to watch commercials, but Pluto TV is good for this as something to have on in the background. They had the Duel on over the weekend, and those were the glory days with Evan and Kenny. John got voted off first that season

Problem with Pluto TV is you can’t pause or rewind the challenge when it’s on and they tend to play the same few seasons over and over.
I was using it to watch old challenger episodes but you can only watch what is currently airing, so watching an entire season isn’t possible unless you sit there and watch straight through

I recently watched a few episodes of Rivals I and the 2-part final because Bananas said it was still the hardest one he's ever done.
It really put this last season to shame. They canoed, ran, hiked, puzzled, ate, and climbed a mountain from daylight to dark, then could only sleep while their partner stood on a tiny little rock. If the partner fell, no more sleep. I'd bet no one got more than 2-3 hrs of sleep.
Then the next day, they had to scale to the peak of a rock-faced mountain with climbing gear, then find some key and get to top of the peak for the finish.
It was absolutely brutal. It was easily up there with War of the Worlds desert final and Exes II where CT gassed put in the snow.
Those old seasons had such great drama and cast interaction. It can't be understated how great Kenny was as a personality. He and Wes genuinely hated each other. It was great.

Nessa, former shitty host and Mtv darling is the girlfriend of Kaepernick.
Mtv never wants to waste a chance to show how "woke" and down with the movement they are. I would not be surprised if Kaep/Nessa had something to do with VD being put on as the host. He was not smooth. In fact, he doesn't seem qualified and was very stiff in that role. Those hosts always suck.

I cancelled CBS ALL ACCESS last year but having the old challenge episodes until BB airs next week is gold. Watching season 11, I’m trying to figure out how Walter White Jr was casted.
