That's one reason why I really loved Rivals I. Most of those teams went into the season really disliking each other. Some of the later Rivals seasons they really stretched the definition.

At the end of exes, they were basically even going off rumors of hookups it seemed.
Wasnt there one where John and Nany were paired up as "exes" yet there was never any footage of them actually hooking up?
John was in a relationship for years during the show. If he really does have some sway over production, that one could have easily been contrived to keep him on the show. In reality, how may exes did he really have on the show before he got single a few seasons ago?
Maybe Camilla? But that wasn't even really a relationship. It was basically just a hookup or two that I think.
He's apparently got Morgan Willett locked down now (smokeshow), and I guess she's not coming on again. She did that one season and that's it. I'm assuming the challenge house probably doesn't really help the heth of your relationship.

Gauntlet 2 goes way back. Those are the like the heyday of Beth and Syrus... And both of them were like 35 it seemed when it aired.
Thats also peak Miz time I would guess. I'm defiently going to get a free month of old challenge seasons there.

I want to see a heavy hitters season with Turbo, Theo, Tony, Joss, Rogan, Fessy, Bananas, Wes, CT, Jordan etc and then for the girls Tori, Kam, Cara, Ashley, Jenny, Camila, Nicole and some other strong competitors who I cant think of right now

Add Derrick and Darrell and the guys would be almost impossible to navigate. I'd probably still put $$ on Turbo or Theo, though. They both beat Wes in ahead to head final. The whole house would have to team up to pit Fessy or CT (I know he's old and fat, but he could still run almost anyone over in hall brawl) against one of these guys in a elimination.
They could even call it all-stars or Heavy Hitter, like you said. Or they just get only cast members that have reached a final or won.
You obviously wouldn't have a full regular season cast of 35 or so (unless you convinced got some OGs to come on), but it would be worth it. I'd absolutely take a 10-12 episode season with no shitty competitors.

Forgot about Derrick he's must have.
I can't see Turbo if he's in the same shape he was 3 years ago losing anything that involves strength or endurance. I think he would bulldoze Fessy or CT. Maybe Jordan could out swim him thats about it.

So, I went to CBS and tried to watch a couple episodes of Gauntlet II... It was tough.
I love the OGs, but the game just was kind of a joke. I think it was TJs first season (or near his first).
He was very very loose and some crazy British girl I don't even remember accused the whole house of essentially sexually harrassing her on night 1 and she called the Dominican authorities, then quit. TJ didn't say anything... Just like.. Well, she's gone. Then an elimination was Derrick K. vs. white guy Adam. I totally forgot that eliminations used to be teammate against teammate. Derrick killed the guy in some coconut trivia contest that they kept wrestling in, but weren't supposed to. Then the rest of the team hated Derrick because he was the only one playing a serious game. Timmy and Dave and other OGs were like "Derrick is not a good teammate."
The partying was huge back then. I forgot how much hooking up they showed in a 21 minute episode.
Then I went to a season with a little more competition. Gauntlet III. Weirdly, CBS omitted Inferno III (Dave Mirra's last hosting I think). They have all the others after S11 but not that one.
Gauntlet 3 cast is stacked. It also has tail-end prime Coral. Her and Ev get into a big fight during the daily competition and Coral is not backing down an inch. She totally puts Ev in her place, then in her interview gives one of the greatest lines i've ever heard in the Challenge.
"I don't care who she is or how tough she's supposed to be, I'm not backing down. I don't care if there is a rumor that she has a penis... I'm not going not backing down from that bitch."
Hell, she'd be kicked off the show now.
I also forgot how much they sexed every daily competition up. All the chicks were in bikinis and the dudes were basically all in speedos or really short shorts. Johnny is barely in the show. He was just kind of another dude back then. It's also prime crazy CT. He had just hot kicked off Inferno III and was back. He had to have been 45 lbs lighter then and he was still probably every bit of 225.
For a month free, these episodes are great to have on in the background.

I'm guessing production really must have hated Dee if others are just getting "suspended." BTW, apparently Ninja Natalie has some old tweets too. Wonder if she'll be back anytime soon. It doesn't help that most fans seem to hate her.
