I watched Ted last night, and while some parts were funny. The movie really wasn't all that good.
Ted sucked and I really don´t mind stupid comedies.

I found it fricking hilarious. I don't know how you don't get in stitches when Patrick Warburton starts talking about his black out gay experience.

3. Any movie with Jamie Foxx in it.

This is ridiculous. What's the reasoning behind it? The dude is an Oscar winner and has been in some really good movies as mentioned. Added to that you're going to miss out on a Tarantino western. Tarantino. Western. Possibly the best combination of director and genre possible. For me at least.

I watched this one and laughed hard.
I've never seen the origional show, or even knew anything about it.
I had heard of it, but I didn't even know it was a cop show.
So I guess I wasn't involved in comparing it to the show the whole time, and could just enjoy it for what it is; a comedy.
I normaly don't like Jona Hill and the Tatum dude, but they are funny in this.

I'm never going to watch %99 of gore movies. I hate the genre. Also movies like The Exorcist. Straight up demonistic movies are a definite no. You couldn't pay me to watch any of these movies.

War Horse. I have zero desire to see that movie.

Also, anything Tarantino ever does ever. That is the most f-ed up individual I have ever seen not out actually murdering and eating people. His movies are beyond disturbing.

That's an odd movie to choose. I mean I've never seen it and doubt I ever will. But not something I'm avidly going to avoid.

If you don't want to watch Tarantino stuff I can respect that. If that's not your style then fine. Almost everybody will tell you you're missing out on some really good movies though.

I watched Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, Hero, and Kill Bill 1 and 2. All of them were just disturbing and I did not like any of them. I saw the first trailer for Hostel and knew that Tarantino had to make these movies to get the need to murder and eat people out of his system. I will never watch one second of a movie of his again.

O I was thinking you had never seen any of them

He didn't direct Hostel though. Or write it. They just slapped his name on there to make money. I would never watch that movie ever as well.

Not a QT film:

quote:

Miramax, the film studio, owned the American-market distribution rights, but delayed the release of the film, a record[citation needed] total of six times. Import DVDs of the film were sold online and Miramax demanded that the sites cease selling the DVD.[15] The movie was finally released in American theaters on August 27, 2004 after intervention by Disney executives and Quentin Tarantino, who helped secure an uncut English-subtitled release. He also offered to lend his name to promotional material for the film in order to attract box office attention to it; his name was attached to the credits as "Quentin Tarantino Presents"

Hostel

Still not QT.

Hostel is a 2005 horror film written, produced and directed by Eli Roth and starring Jay Hernandez.

Just shrug him off as an idiot. I hate Sean Penn as a person, but I don't let that shrug me off since he does star in truly great films. And I guarantee the guy was dumb enough to take his SNL racist comments seriously, not realizing that he started off as a comedian.

I was about to rip you apart from the first post, but the second post is understandable. While he's my current favorite living director and writer, I can certainly see how he isn't for everyone. Just thought you were going in blindly not seeing any of his films.

Ted had some funny parts. If a comedy has at least one good funny part, I'm good.

In Ted, in the hotel fight scene, when the bear purposely runs across the room to get to the nightstand to open it up and get the Bible as a weapon - and the way they filmed that
