I was wondering the same. Not a big fan of his but he has made some great flicks.

Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction, just to name a couple.

The Hangover. Never got around to seeing it, and its so overplayed now I have no interest

Ehh, I think its a good comedy, but its not as great as everyone makes it up to be. Worth the view, but it isn't incredible. Skip the sequel.

He should see all these. Definite must sees. Monsters Ball is a rough, messed up movie but you do get to see Halle Berry's yum yums.

Man on Fire is a great movie. "I wish, you had, more time. " Then walks away like a badass. Great freaking movie.

Agree with OP, I've never seen any of the Transformers.

Michael Bay

Any other movie that tries to capitalize on my childhood is pretty much a negative for me. The G.I. Joe flick. Stuff like that.

I would say Hunger Games movies but I'll probably use them to bargain into not watching Twilight movies with the gf.

pretty solid group of picks. I think this would be my list, too (although I would add "any musical" to the end)

Honestly aside from films like "A Serbian Film" (which I advise you all to stay as far away from as possible), I don't know why anyone wants to specifically avoid a film completely. Sure I don't want to see Twilight, but honestly schlock can be fun to make fun of with you and a good friend. So I honestly can't say there is a film I refuse to see (aside from finishing "A Serbian Film", that I will never finish). Films are an artform that should be relished and despised by all. I have seen plenty of awful and great movies, and will continue to.

Yeah I don't know what that's all about. Because I would definitely say of those listed he should definitely see green mile and man on fire.
Man on fire has been a personal favorite of mine for a while, it's not a top 5 for me but it's up there. And the green mile is a really good movie IMO at least. Id definitely recommend it. I have the hurt locker on DVD. I've only watched it once when I was offshore and I remember it being good and I've been hearing people mention it at work the past few weeks so I may give it another spin this weekend bc I don't really remember it much.

I just want to know that posters reasons for making up that list. Because it's by far the worse one in this thread.
