Monster - I'm sure its good, but goddammit, I can't look at Charlize Theron anymore just from the poster. I don't want to have a 2 hour movie drive the point home for me.

In response to OML, why anyone would say they're never gonna see a movie is pretty simple. It doesn't appeal to them. There are plenty our there that I will probably never see. I have no interest in seeing any other Transformers movie and no real interest in seeing any more Tarantino flicks. If I happen to catch them on TV while nothing else is on, sure I might leave it on that channel, but I will not actively seek out Django Unchained, for instance, even though that looks better than the last 3 Tarantino flicks I've seen.

The first one? The first Transformers was a good popcorn flick. The cars transforming were cool at the time and it was a pretty funny movie. The scene with them fighting on the highway was pretty sweet and when old boy is walking by the little girl by the pool, those were some pretty sweet scenes.It accomplishes what it set out to be. Then #'s two and three come out and overdo everyhting and has a terrible story, and all of a sudden the first one sucks. I can separate the third godfather from the first two and don't view it as dragging them down. Obviously Transformers is not the godfather, I'm just saying I can look at them separately. One good movie, two pretty bad ones. You rarely heard of anybody hating on the first Transformers when it first came out, it has a good imdb rating not that bad of a Metacritic score

Those that come in saying "seriously, yall, don't go seeing that Serbian Film. Seriously, yall, don't. It's so bad. Don't see it" only make people want to see it more.
