Oh no, it's not a cow, it's a Minotaur. It's a creature of myth. And he got this one out of your mom's closet.

She let me keep it after I f'd her.

Seeing a lot of people mention Margin Call, Moneyball, and the Big Short.

I loved all three but went in to each of those enthusiastically and with really high expectations (that were either met or exceeded).

Goon. Starts out as raunchy sports comedy but ends up as something like inspiring and has some awesome characters.

Clearly, I agree

I rewatched Van Helsing for the first time in over a decade this week.

I loved it. Every second of it. Give me a campy monster movie with good action all day long.

If you think about the subject matter of the movie.....The Big Short shouldn't be as outstanding as it is. I mean, it's about the housing market collapse.

The cast is stellar.

I'm going to submit the movie Anonymous to the group. Roland Emmerich, known for his high budget summer blockbuster films, makes a low-key period piece about a conspiracy theory concerning the authorship of William Shakespeare's plays and did a decent job of keeping me engaged.

Grownups and pixels. Really any Sandler movie. Not that they're good, mind you, but better than they should be for what they are

my submission for this category is Young Guns II.

I know my love for this movie is 99% because me and my sister had the soundtrack CD (2nd CD we got, ever, after MC Hammer I think) and still listen to that. Brat pack all the way. I will watch it if it's ever on, doesn't matter when.
