All movies. A good score and soundtrack can elevate ANY movie.

pretty much. one time I watched a movie without music due to a technical difficulty in the theater. it was a horror/suspense movie. imagine how much of the tension was lost without the creepy atmospherics of music.

I'd have to say Ennio Morricone's contribution to For A Few Dollars more elevated it to the point where I consider it better than A Fistful of Dollars and The Good The Bad And The Ugly. The flashback scenes with the music box melody is simply enchanting.

The Mission wouldn't be half the film it is without the haunting Ennio score.

This is a huge call.

Can't believe the pirates movies weren't mentioned. Hans Zimmer never fails to impress me

Obvious one:

Not so obvious one:

Hans Zimmer nailed the music in Gladiator. "Now We Are Free" is one of my favorite original movie songs.

Conan and Excalibur are excellent choices for the power of a great score.

Attended a wedding where some of the music from Excalibur was used!

Lawrence of Arabia is played out to some great music.

i agree with Devil's rejects. opening and closing credits with Midnite Rider and Freebird respectively made those 2 scenes incredible. the entire soundtrack is great as well. the music selections definitly added to several scenes

Smokey and the bandit
13 days

I assume we are excluding the obvious musicals like the sound of music and west side story.
