They're currently filming Dawn of the Planet of the Apes in NOLA. Here's some pics of the set they put up right off of Loyola Ave. in the CBD.

All very good suggestions.

I also liked the look of the city in Runaway Jury and, yes, The Big Easy. Funny accents but they sort of got the vibe, imo.

I agree about runaway jury VOR the city looked beautiful in that film

Tightrope probably was the ugliest looking film set and made here IMO

Yeah, a lot of it was shot in a house on Broadway. That entire movie was dark.

Beasts of the Southern Wild... Well it was filmed in Terrebonne Parish but its close enough
