Any dog movie that gets hurt or killed. I'm out. I watched Marley and me once. And I cried like a baby. If there's a movie with a dog in it,and I know it's gonna die I will not watch it. Nope.

I feel like Marley And Me is one of the least rewatchable movies of all time.

I have yet to meet a person who's seen it twice.

Not Boromir's passing, but the farewell at the Grey Havens.

Pretty much anytime a pet dies in a sad way.

Like Ol' Yeller or Will Smith's dog in I Am Legend.

There is a scene in QB VII (1974), where an older Jewish woman testifies to the horrors she suffered as a child in the Jadviga concentration camp in Poland.

At the end of the scene, the entire set, director, cameramen, co-stars, etc., were crying.

Would not mind watching that mini-series again

I have tried to watch it a second time, just couldn’t get past about 15-20 minutes. Couldn’t do it, figured I better stop before it got too late.

I still watch Ole Yeller periodically. I just stop after he saves them from the wolf.
What a phenomenal dog.

ETA - speaking of, does anyone know where you can watch the movie about Ole Yeller’s pup? Called Savage Sam, with many of the Coates family and the Searcys.

In Balboa when Rocky is with Pauly asking him to watch him train.

Pauly asking if he’s mad at Adrian because she left him, and Rocky’s response while visibly shaken…”she didn’t leave, she died…”

I break down every time. Man, those were some emotional movies. The Creed series is good but can’t capture the magic of Stallone.

Minimum of three times during Lonesome Dove:
- When Deets gets kill/Deets funeral scene.
- Bedside scene when Gus kicks the bucket.
- When Woodrow tells or attempts to tell Newt that he is his Father.

Marley and Me for obvious reasons

Spider Man No Way Home- For nostalgia purposes and that movie made me feel like a kid again for a brief moment

Armageddon- Where Bruce Willis's character says goodbye to his daughter

The Green Mile- When John Coffey dies.

This may not resonate with anyone else but the scene that made me bawl like an infant was at the end of American Beauty when they showed a picture of the family smiling and happy together at an amusement park. It really drove home how we can let outside pressures stress us until we lose sight of what’s important and lash out at the people that we should love the most. We had 2 toddlers at home and both my wife and I worked full time and it was incredibly stressful and we weren’t home very much with the kids. It was like a kick in the head that I didn’t want our family to end up that way. (Or me getting my brains blown out in the kitchen ..ha ha). We were in a packed theatre and I had to just sit with my head down until everybody cleared out. My wife looked at me like “wtf Is wrong with you?”. Weird experience but I honestly think it was one of those lesson moments from a movie that helped shape my future behavior for the better.
