I haven't seen the Departed in a while and I know Sullivan deserved what he got in the end, but Sullivan was still a kid that got manipulated and groomed by Costello at an early age and was just trying to survive and get away by the end of it. Still a rat, still a murderer and a bad guy that deserved death, but not even the most unlikeable character in the movie IMO. Costello created him and was way worse

Meredith was a jerk to the twins the whole movie. It was so satisfying seeing her waking up on the air mattress in the middle of the lake.

I guess that guy was typecast as a dick in everything. Two of his characters have already been named in this thread. His character sucked in Real Genius too.

I see your point but Matt Damon has a special knack for playing douuches. I could have just as easy picked him in Talented Mr. Ripley

That's fair

He's great as a douche in Interstellar too. That might be Damon's most irredeemable character.
