First movie to come to mind for me. If that ending doesn't make you feel things you may not have a soul.

Alpha Dog ending was one I had forgotten, but that's one that kinda sticks with you afterwards. So tough.

Man, I haven’t thought about the end of Alpha Dog in a long time. shite. That one hits hard just remembering it.

I'd have to vote for Alpha Dog as well. What makes it so much worse is that other than the names being different, it's a true story and happened pretty much true to what the movie showed. Just a brutal story.

Have been trying to recommend to the wife and rest of the family (niece, nephews, in laws, etc) the next time we all get together. Maybe I should let it go. Still haven’t seen it.

Just to add diversity to the conversation...

Even though the Family Man was supposed to have a happy ending, all I can think about is that their children never existed and will never exist.

The dude lived a life knowing about this amazing daughter and a baby, and bam they cease to exist.

How did you get this from the end? Obviously, they get married and they go on to have those kids. It was to let him know what he missed so that he gets a do-over and has it all.

On top of that, the 10/10 acting by the late Anton. That’s why that scene is so impactful. Blue screen, didn’t matter, goofy cgi bullets, didn’t matter. The whole thing was all Anton Yelchin. That scene and the ending montage are the only things I even remember about the film.

I’m right there with you, although I will occasionally watch Old Yeller up to the wolf fight. Always stop it there.
Marley and Me - no chance. Had three yellow labs get old on me.
Red Fern - not since I was a kid.

Let me add 8 Below to the never watch again list.

They are too old to start having kids. The kids will never exist.
