The Village had a worse ending than Signs.

I don't know if anyone has seen the horror film High Tension, but it was great until the "twist ending," which made the entire movie unbelievable. Had the movie ended about 15 minutes earlier, it would have been great.

i can understand this although i don't necessarily agree.

SPOILERS:

when you get to the twist and you realize its a dual personality, everything that happens from the beginning of the film is whats going on in her head. She's chasing the killer trying to come back to that form of reality. I suggest that you rewatch it with that in mind. Once she starts her chase its mainly her conscious mind trying to catch the other and overcome it. The only part that kind of becomes unbelievable was when she enters the grocery store. the clerk does his best job of hiding her. That doesn't make sense once the ending happens. It would literally mean she enters the convenient store twice.

So really the movie still makes sense when you realize that its her personalities in a car chase.

I would list The Last Kiss as a movie w/ a horrible ending, but it's a just horrible movie. period. The ending merely followed suit.

Fantastic Four Rise of the Silver Surfer.
The movie was shitty and when they showed the alien and the surfboard at the end leaving room to make this crap into a trilogy I was frickin pissed.

I understand and I got that. But it made the entire movie unbelievable. I thought it would have been better had she not been the killer.

I really enjoyed the movie The Beach up until the point Leo went out on his own. The first 1:15 were great; the last 30 was AWFUL.

Wouldn't so much call it the ending though, more like the 2nd half of the movie. I was liking the movie up until they got to the bar and everyone turned into vampires.

+1

Selma was super hot though.

It's a good ending, but a real downer. My wife loved the movie till the end but now hates it (ie. the ending pissed her off)

I agree, but still liked it.
I hate Will Smith movies, but I liked I Am Legend, until the end.

I didn't like the ending to The Happening, maybe i just didn't like the movie in general but i thought the ending waiting for the wind to stop blowing actually blowed.

Oh yeah i hated the way No Country for Old Men and Hancock ended too.

Reminded me of Jumper, it could have been a great movie if there was another 30 minutes or so tacked onto the end

Oh God, if Jumper had 30 more minutes tacked onto it, I would have definitely thrown my remote right through my flat screen TV!!!

Add I am Legend to the list. Movie went downhill after the "Fred" scene.

I was sad that Tom Hanks dies in Saving Private Ryan. I wanted him to make it.

If I just spoiled that movie for you then why the hell haven't you seen it yet?

You nailed it cene.

I think it's a great horror movie. I love how it references movies like Halloween and then ups the violence to 11.
