As a lover of the books, Uhtred was badly miscast in the Last Kingdom show. Overall the show had great casting, except for the main character.

Never knew the Moors conquered the Roman Empire.

Vin Diesel is a terrible choice for Major. Much worse than what we got.

As far as bad casting, I still say Jessie Eisenberg as Lex Luthor. Adrian Brody in Predators was pretty bad even though the movie itself was ok.

Tim Robbins as Nuke LaLoosh. Does anyone believe for one second that he has an ounce of athletic ability?

He was a baseball player, not an athlete.

I mean it’s not that outlandish. A real pitiful one was watching Tommy Lee Jones pretend to play baseball in Cobb in flashback scenes. Painful to watch. TLJ was about 50 at the time but even for a 50 year old it was pathetic.

Tim Robbins was great a a young meathead athlete. If you're going to post a pic of him in a jock strap, we need this pic to reciprocate.

You can buy that on Hollywoodmemorabilia.com

Eddie George played Caeser in a local Nashville theater production. It's not like it was a Netflix special or anything.

Meh. It's like if Deuce McAllister played Hamlet in a local New Orleans Shakespeare production. There's no agenda there.

Eddie George is a Nashville sports icon. Him playing Caesar for two weeks in Nashville isn't the same as a black woman playing Cleopatra in a huge international streaming service like Netflix.

You can’t really hold theater to movie casting standards. The best actor gets the part and pretty much everyone knows your list of options is limited to local talent.

TV and movies don’t have that limitation.

The Red Dragon... in the book, Francis Dollarhyde was 6'6'- 6'7", 240 lbs, powerful and intimidating. Ralp Feines is a fine actor, but he's, what, 5'10"?

I saw Big Sexy pitch, yes. He threw a pitch like what he was - a professional pitcher. Tim Robbins was pathetically bad.

Brie Larson as Captain Marvel. Larson has zero charisma and her attempt at the brash and cocky CM came across like she was mentally retarded. She doesn’t have the range.

Should’ve been Yvonne Strahovski

Hayden Christensen as Anakin Skywalker is bottom of the barrel.

I was onboard with this for a long time until I saw him in other movies.

Now, I'm more convinced this was the fault of Lucas for abysmal directing and the weak writing. I always imagined a younger Anakin as more of a Poe Dameron type, and less a whiny brat they made him into with Hayden.
