Good. Lord. I regret watching this honestly.

This show was messed up.
It really is disturbing to think someone would attempt to pull this off and think it is ok.

Now we have to wait 30 years until she’s executed
They need to throw her in a metal isolation box outside and throw away the key. Let her suffer and die a slow and miserable death. She truly is a disgusting human.

This doc was wild. I'm like everyone else, I have no clue how I've never heard about this story before. I wonder what causes a person to be as fricked up in the head as she is? I can't even process as to how it's possible to be like that.

Just finished it.
Women who have a habit of making a new female friend their "best friend" in a short amount of time are always batshit crazy. Always. (I don't mean that it happens once, I mean that it happens over and over again with multiple friends.)
There's a podcast called Love Trapped about a woman who has accused multiple men of getting her pregnant (when she never was pregnant) and she (Laura Owens) and Taylor have many similar characteristics. They're smart enough to fabricate documents, signatures, phone calls, emails, etc. to back up their bullshite stories, but they also choose targets who are conflict-avoidant and want to be the "good guy" and won't dig too deep or ask too many questions.
No one deserves the blame besides Taylor. Everyone felt she was a pathological liar, but if they really thought she was capable of what she did I believe they would have taken more direct action.
ETA: I read some more about it, and she convinced Wade to take out loans for his new truck, etc. by convincing him that she would get wire transfers from her inheritance to pay them all back.
Also, she went to a doctor's office one day to get an ultrasound, but freaked out when she got there and started crying telling them that her husband was in the military but had recently died in the line of duty. She said her mom was supposed to meet her there but didn't show up. She said she was too emotional to have the ultrasound and was going to reschedule the appointment. She left the office, but they later saw her on a bench outside watching pregnant women go in and out of the clinic.

Watched it today.
It's another example of social media warping the mind of women.

So crazy. My wife is from the small town this occurred in. In fact, her cousin went to school with and was friends with the girl that was murdered so we knew most of the story before watching. We’re currently visiting her family in New Boston. I want to meet Cody and have a beer with him.

I guess documentaries pay well?
I don’t think anyone got any money from it at all.
Also, the crazy girl’s dad knew she had had a hysterectomy and he was there at the gender reveal.

She would sit in the parking lot of the doctor’s office and watch women go in and out and write down their car tags and research them on social media to find out the sex and how far along they were in their pregnancy. The way the documentary showed it, killing that girl was a last ditch effort, but it was premeditated.

People knew this and didn't try to do anything about her?

as a Texan id like to point out she was living on the Oklahoma border and the hospital was in Oklahoma. We dont claim her

Honestly, it’s a major miracle she didn’t try to poison her two kids before Wade. She is no doubt a Munchausen Syndrome textbook case. Glad it wasn’t by proxy

I think they found that out after.

When I was watching this, I thought for sure, she is going to steal a new born from the hospital. When I saw what really happened, I just was thrown. I still have a hard time imagining this really happening. This women is more evil than 99% of horror movie villains.

Same. I screwed up and watched this after I ate. I have not looked into it so I didnt spoil the story, yet I had ZERO fricking clue it was going to go that wild and dark.
