If they rewrote her origins as Chalmette instead of New York it wouldn’t change anything about her performance.

Vin is definitely from Arabi.

Like most people around these parts, I've known alot of yats over the years but never one like that. They're much more muted down here.

I can't say you're wrong.

And the New Orleans/New York/New Jersey accent is the grossest accent in the country. I detest it. Just no. It's terrible.

Give me some thick Cajun Roux or Mississippi Honeysuckle accents all day though.

Northern Michigan is pretty schreechy but at least they're not as abrasive as NY/NJ bitches.

Cajun accents are much worse than NY/NJ accents.

I used to work with an angry lesbian from da parish that sounded just like her character. It was hard to ignore the inherent trashiness.

The amount of pussy I slayed around the country would disagree with this assessment.

1000% agree.

I've known some great and very, very smart people with Cajun accents. But, perhaps, no other accent makes you appear dumber than that one. Just ask someone who is not from Louisiana. There is a reason the accent is often lampooned by outsiders. And none of those depict Cajuns as particularly "intelligent". In fact, more often than not, they are depicted as wholly unintelligible.

If home is a trailer on stilts, then I agree.

This is also true. Girls from other regions can’t help themselves with a baw accent, whether he is from north or south Louisiana.

It’s a New Jersey accent. If you’ve ever been you’d see that they’re very close. I worked in Camden for a few months and most of my coworkers sounded like they were from Kenner.
