Girls from other regions can’t help themselves with a baw accent, whether he is from north or south Louisiana.
Knew a beauty queen from Kenner, who's daddy owned a country bar in Gretna. She talked Yat, but was calmed down by my North Louisiana country accent. Over the weekend that I met her, she told me I was a charmer at least a half dozen times. We had an animal attraction for each other.

Solid work. Might as well be a snake charmer, maybe safer.

It is, and that’s why it works for Nola too.

You forgot Boston.

And Tuscaloosa. Worst southern accent ever. Sounds like the cartoonish southern accents hollywood comes out with, for real.

Happens with about any accent out of region.

Southern broads are drawn to my upper midwest accent.

I have gotten my accent confused with New York on several occasions while out of town. Grew up in Metry, my dad is from the Wank and mom from the city.

People from out of town at first think its NY then are confused because a slight southern thing creeps in.

The Marisa Tomei is far too extreme to be confused with a NOLA one, though. NOLA accent is much more subtle than that

ETA: The best Cajun accents are in the movie Southern Comfort. NOLA is a tough one. I guess you'd have to go with Harry Connick Jr. in Memphis Belle, but that's kind of cheating.
