I was definitely getting that vibe.
Agreed.
No company "ups the offer" when you don't show for the interview.
Duck is in this w/ McCann, IMO.

Maybe Pete pushes Duck out the window when he finds out he's been scammed. Pete's about due to win a fight.
This Duck won't fly.

Pete is awesome.
Yes he is. Always has been in my book.
NOT GREAT BOB!
I really hope he doesn't get screwed over.
Damn, I'm going to miss this show.

Is this seriously ending next week? Feel like they are nowhere near a finale.
Is it 2 hours?

Why would McCann want him out? He has true talent at what he does.

Thanks, no idea where I got the two hours from.

The are certainly wrapping things up. I can think of 5 characters who have had solid endings.
No it is not 2 hours. It's 1 hour & 15 minutes. Which is just enough time imo.

shite, I didn't even think about how big McCann's plan is.
It's been calculated the entire time. Totally eradicate the competition.
They knew SCP from the inside out somehow. I'm guessing through Duck.
They're destroying every single one of them. They knew Don sitting in a room with people just as smart as him would drive him away costing him millions. They knew Joan is a big titted broad in way over her head and that she would freak out if forced to sleep around to maintain power. They knew Pete couldn't pass up the Leave it to Beaver lifestyle he's tried so fervently to have since first joining SC.
Who else? Roger's story isn't really over, yet is it? Peggy will either rise up McCann or get shat on somehow next week.

That is what I've been thinking as well.
Roger I don't know how they'd screw out, but he'll probably just leave with Don.
Ted is the other one I'm not sure what will happen.

Not relative to any theories or even this last episode, but just ran across this and it cracked me up. Figured this crowd might enjoy...

He brought the business, they have it, now they don't want to pay.

What are the chances that Connie Hilton makes an appearance? Would be interesting if he showed up and gave Don a job.

Finally got to see the episode.
frick. I cried watching Sally with the boys. As sad as I am for Betty, it's going to be such a shitshow for them.
There is absolutely something up with the Pete situation. I don't trust Duck at all. Drunk worthless bastard. Good for him and Trudy though. That gave me the warm and fuzzies.
"You gotta do what you gotta do to get home". Think we're definitely going to see the reemergence of Dick Whitman.

He's gonna go to California and help Stephanie raise her baby as Uncle Dick. That would be the connection with Anna (the one woman who truly loved him for him) that he should've always had.
I think that would be a beautiful finish.

Anyone else watching the marathon?
Something caught my ears during the pilot episode. During the Lucky Strike meeting. Don drops the line "You are okay.". What was the last thing Roger said to Don recently?
I have a feeling that was our last Roger/Don moment and internally that makes me

I can see Don shedding his "Don Draper" self and going back to Dick Whittman. Buying a farm and having the kids come live with him. I think the last minutes of the episode shows Dick Whittman on the ranch, drinking an old fashion, wearing a solid white t-shirt with aviator glasses, and he looking at a billboard of one of his former clients...
Just my opinion. The end of this series will ht me hard.
