Your list is my list, lol... excepting Community and New Girl- haven't tried those yet.

Psych is like Eureka for me... cute, light, fun, funny, and kinda sweet.

Watchu think about Monk?

What's The Bear about and where will it stream?

Drama about a chef prodigy coming back to save the family restaurant

One of the best shows out there today

Community
Created and written by Dan Harmon (creator and writer of Rick and Morty) Most of the episodes are directed by the Russo Brothers (Infinity War/Endgame) before they were big names

Great, great show that is also silly and smart

New Girl surprised me years back. I had thought is some Zoey Deschanel chick show. Wrote it off very much like I do anything with America Ferrera.

It is a great show about 5 (off and on 6) friends. The guys end up being far bigger characters than Zoey.

You’re such a dishonest disingenuous sanctimonious piece of shite.
And you know it too.
That’s why after a three-dozen post ruination of yet another thread,
you come in trying to act all conciliatory and sage like, but everyone knows your garbage 100%.
That’s why you get auto downvoted - you’re a horrible person and it bleeds through every post (except your fake arse Gandhi ones lol).

I'll check my services for new girl... i think community is on hbo- I like Dan Harmon though so I might check it out if I can pull away from my treasured trash tv.

Thanks for the suggestions! I've been in rewatch mode vs trash tv for a Loooong time!

Threads like these are way worse than whatever it is you're complaining about.

Because it completely ignores that it’s Pixar’s only success in the last 5 years. It’s the one that bucked the trend, not the trend itself. And you can’t seem to admit it, Pixar generally sucks lately. That’s just matter of fact. One good effort in 8 movies (about to be 9) is not a good studio

Cocomo’s post about people downvoting you for stupid contrarian opinions perfectly describes this

This is your take away from the culture war argument?

Not the idea the idea that shoving it into everything unearned, changing casting of traditional roles, and all that is the problem.

So you are tweaking your same incorrect argument from the other day from good turnouts to good efforts? you arent fooling anyone besides maybe yourself with your selection window (5 years) of right after they rallied off 4 huge successes in a row.

Sorry, last 8 movies, 1 good turnout.
Keep shifting them goalposts youll get there eventually.

They are in the last 8 theater release movies as well.

Here are the movies in order

2. Inside Out 2 $1.7 billion
3. Elemental
4. Lightyear

6. Toy Story 4 $1+ billion 2019
7. Incredibles 2 $1.2+ billion 2018
8. Coco $800+ million 2017

You’re moving the goalposts if you say theater releases so you take out all the garbage they’ve released since covid

I just finished a rewatch (my third or fourth) of Community. It's great. It's a different kind of humor (and very meta at times), and sometimes they tried to be too ambitious with the episodes (i.e. they spoof other shows and genres a good bit), but for the most part it's fantastic. Season 6 is good, but sort of a slog at times mainly because it aired on Yahoo Screen (i.e. not on television), so episodes are closer to 30 minutes than the typical 21/22 minute runtimes.

New Girl is one that I missed when it aired. I discovered it several years later, and really liked it. All I'll say for NG is if you aren't feeling it for the first half of S1, give it time to develop...once they shift the main focus of the show from Zoey to the group as a whole, the tone changes and it really hits its stride. It's s really solid show.
