Just an FYI.... Per tv guide
An ABC source confirms to me that after Sunday’s series finale, titled “The End,” airs from 9 – 11:30 pm ET/PT, the season six DVD (as well as the complete series collection, out on DVD and Blu-ray August 24) will continue the saga with upwards of twenty minutes of additional storyline.
“It’s in production now,” confirms the source, who couldn’t yet confirm the actual running time of the new scenes. “Damon and Carlton wanted to offer fans answers to additional questions they couldn’t get to in the body of the final show.”

I posted twice so everyone could get the hidden meaning and humor behind it, in case they missed it the first go around

I would love to see O'Quinn's.

Michael Emerson as Hurley was pretty funny although it was a bad copy.

Dude they didn't even show the good part of Josh Holloway's audition as Sawyer. According to Damon and JJ, Josh forgot his lines, stood up out of his chair, kicked it, and screamed "son of a bitch!". They knew they had their Sawyer.

Terry didn't audition. Locke was written with the actor in mind for the role.

Was Sawyer supposed to be the "main" character, i.e. like what the role of Jack became?

Kate was supposed to be the main character, but Sawyer would be the lead male character.

Only if Michael Keaton got the part.

Keaton, if he took it, didn't want to be locked in long term. If he signed on, he was going to be killed off in the pilot.

But Keaton turned it down, and Fox's reading of the part (plus giving Holloway the part of Sawyer) convinced the writers to make Jack the main character.

And was penned to be a middle-aged con man from Buffalo, NY.

But Holloway's audition convinced them to change it to a young, Southern con-man.

it happens all the time on movies and tv shows. They have a character in mind and they end up changing it once an actor auditions and blows them away.

There would be a lot of terrible movies if this didn't happen
