Seems reasonable to me. The question is what will be Ben's judgement? I'm afraid we are going to find/get confirmation that Ben has murdered Penny. Desmond undoubtedly will be gunning for Ben. :)
Remember the scene from "Dances With Wolves" when that one Indian is encircled and shot repeatedly by everyone in the circle? Well that might be final scene of LOST with Ben in the middle of the circle haha

Check out the link I posted earlier.... In the scene they previewed with Ben on the docks, the hatch of the car is wide open. Unless Ben jumped out of the back, why would it be open?? I think he planned on kidnapping one of the two.

i dont think the smoke will kill ben. I say this because the island wanted the O6 back, or so we have to believe. Ben wanted to get back, but he also helped the O6 return, the smoke will forgive him and we will see them cuddling in the temple by shows end.

Very possible. He may have thought he needed to get Penny and take her to the island....in order to get Desmond to come back thus replicating further the O6's original time on the island.
Or he may just be trying to kill her.

And LOST is really fuskin with my tv show mindset. I was watching a silly show (Doctor Who) and this girl saved her dad in the past and I thougth well it doesn't matter because time will set itself straight... then i remembered that LOST isn't real and doesn't apply to all fictional time travel

Good insight. The goal was to get them all back. Desmond told Penny that he had no reason to return to the island but if Penny was on the island, there's his reason :)
An alternative scenario might be that Ben knew if he killed Penny, Desmond would return to the island to get Ben if he knew Ben was back on the island.

Should be an interesting episode. Anything critical related to Ben is always entertaining. Will Ben be spared due to end (saving the island/the earth) justifying the means, Ben's seemingly countless misdeeds?
