Yikes. In the middle of filming.
I was really excited for this movie, because the casting was great. Now, I'm afraid it's going to be a dumpster fire.

WTF how do you lose your directors in the middle of shooting?

I'm guessing they wanted to make a good movie with original ideas and Disney told them no.

shite, well this sucks. Lord and Miller have proven they know what they're doing, so this isn't a good sign.

I'll never understand how a studio can hire people to do a job and get mad when they do it the way they hired them to

You would think any "creative differences" would be sorted before they signed on.

It happens more than you think. Edgar Wright for instance dropped out of Ant-Man mid-production.

I said from the beginning this movie was a terrible idea and showed a total lack of cretivity by disney. It's the only sw movie I haven't been excited about.

Micheal Bay would be a good director.

That, like all Disney movies, it's written by suits with demographic market research in mind. In other words, it will suck.

But it's STAR WARS, so it will kill at the box office, convincing these idiots that they're geniuses.

An Obi-Wan Kenobi movie makes a lot more sense because his story was a huge part of the prequels and the original trilogy...he's literally the bridge of the force from the old republic to Luke. Han Solo was a supporting character that ended up being played by an actor that was wildly popular later in life.

Probably Kennedy didn't want any white males to be the hero and the directors where like "WTF!? Han Solo is white" and Kennedy was like Lando is the hero.

Terrible news....I'm sure they had ideas Disney wouldn't sign off on. Star Wars is simply the next Marvel, just stick to the same formulas.

Wow, that's not good...hopefully they still make a good movie.
