One of the worst endings in cinematic history. How were you supposed to know if they won or not? Yeah, they nailed their final routine, but the only way they would've won was if the Soviets messed up.

They won gold, it's canon from the sequel and they had a daughter to spit out the same story except this time he is an inline skater/surfer and it's much shittier.
