I’m about 30 minutes in and wow these accents are terrible.
Reminds of the Office “ murder” episode when Andy talks about how the Savannah accent spills out of your mouth like molasses

You gotta shut out all the background noise and just see the movie. Just see it there in front of you. All that other stuff it don't matter. It's just you and the movie.

I actually liked it. Bad southern accents usually do bother me in movies, but for some reason it gets by me in this one.

This is one of those movies I thoroughly enjoy even though it sucks.
And yes getting Charlize Theron a South African to play a Great Depression era Southern Belle wasn't going to workout great.
And Will Smith's performance...was nearly laughable if you think about it.
