For those with children or are just creepy.

I can't stand friggin' Caillou. My daughter loves it. I get the theme song stuck in my head and it kills me.

Also Nina

+1 on Nina I would tear that up. Friggen star is kind of creepy though. Caillou is definitely the worst and dragon tales is pretty gay. I try to put on disney in the morning for my son if Thomas isn't on.

Caillou.

But in general...

Somebody was on drugs when they came up with this idea.

My 27 month old son is OBSESSED with Kipper. And I have to say, it is pretty good. The music is awesome and it's fairly cerebral (for what it is).

+1 on Caillou. All that little fricker does is whine and complain. I have to agree with Kipper too. It is a good children's show.

My favorite, by far, is Yo Gabba Gabba on Noggin.

I actually do not mind watching it with my son. The music really is well done and original. There's no product placement. It has a lot of subtlety. And somehow the English accents just make it seem classier.

I think we can all agree that the Berenstain Bears have the best theme song:
quote:

Somewhere deep in Bear Country
lives the Berenstain Bear family.
They're kind of furry around the torso.
They're a lot like people, only moreso.

The bear fact is that
they're just like you and me.
The only difference
is they live in a tree.

The bolded lines are epic IMO. Not only is their torso furriness highlighted, they are alleged to be like people...only moreso. If anyone knows what the frick that could possibly mean, then I welcome your explanation. In my household, this has been elevated to the status of a philosophical question.

Not sure what channel it comes on, but does anybody let their kids watch Wonder Pets? My wife and I cannot believe that there is a show for kids on TV where one of the main characters (the duck) has a speech impediment. Does that seem strange to anyone else????
