Actually your OP just asked about which magazines did we always pick up. Nowhere did it specify movie/tv mags.

Bananas was a mag for middle-school aged kids. Had a poster in every issue, all of which went on my wall.

It was published by Scholastic, Inc. I think we ordered their stuff at school.
