That’s a big turn off for me because it was so overt and hurt the story.

They honestly might as well not even call it Star Wars. Its just piggybacking off Star Wars ideas at this point.

Disney is like ESPN (which they own and obviously control) they own their respective industry and a lot of people are none too happy about it.
We saw the SJW turn with ESPN in sports from here on out it's going to be even worse with Disney movies. So if you're not a fan of this direction, a lot of movies might be a pass. The cinema will shrink.

While I don’t believe it to be a significant reason why this movie didn’t work, the SJW stuff was there. The whole Casino Rich People Suck and animal cruelty is wrong and the heavy handed feminism were right in front of you. You my friend have your head in the sand. But it was only 1 of the smaller issues in this movie. I can handle some virtue signaling in a movie that is enjoyable, this movie was an incoherent mess.
