My issue is that after watching that entire trailer I never felt like I saw anything resembling Kraven from the comics. It felt way off to me. Venom felt like Venom, Morbius felt like Morbius, this just kind of felt tangentially related to Kraven. ATJ doesn't really look the part or bring the right persona. Maybe once the movie releases it will work, but that short set of overly edited clips did not.

They have the rights to the entire Spiderverse. Marvel only uses what Sony allows them to use.

Betting that if it wasn't called Kraven, moviegoers who know the character would be more receptive to this.

The last time Marvel tried to do an anti-hero aka villain origin story was Morbius, and it flopped.

I had less than 0 interest in Morbius… this at least looks like it could have some fun action scenes. I’ll reserve judgement for now, hopefully Taylor-Johnson can carry it. He’s got some talent, so this at least has a chance to be entertaining
