I just did a rewatch of this not long ago. This is a great example of how to poke fun at southern culture. There are things worth laughing at but it never felt mean. You felt like you were in on the joke. I miss comedy like that without an agenda.

Hank asks Bobby who his hero is and Bobby says Willie Nelson.
Hank "You're just saying Willie Nelson because I said Willie Nelson"
Bobby "No, I like Willie Nelson. He's got long hair. He's alternative.
Hank "Now, you take that back. I've followed that man from Country Western to Country to Adult Contemporary and that's as far as I'm going."

When bill is playing the gta type game as hank hill driving down the street to go to his wife Peggy and son who loves him very much. Then a missile comes out of nowhere and kills him and bill’s expression is priceless, gets me every time, poor poor stupid Bill

I think all the episodes are on Hulu now as well, I’ve been placed on the “bench” for my company so I think I will get caught up on the show. Wife hates this show.

On my rewatch last year I identified With it much more than when I was watching in college. I feel like I am Hank Hill as I grow more and more disgusted with the world as I age.
