Drive is a work of art and one of the best films Ive seen in the last few years in this age of bad movies.
THIS...and the soundtrack is epic, I listen to it weekly!!

Looks like I need to end this words with friends game with you, create a new app called words with enemies, invite you to play, never make a move, then suddenly show up to your house and take a shite in your mouth.
you want Words with Enemies? give me your iTunes account info and watch me work

You're not the only one. I thought it was mediocre on its own and then coupled with the hype made me hate it.
The soundtrack made zero sense in the context of movie. It seemed so out of place.
The storyline was so bland and hackneyed. Misunderstood tough guy stands up for single woman and kid.
The random violence in the elevator was so out of place and didn't fit in with the rest of the movie.
Better movies in the last 10 years off the top of my head
Hotel Rwanda
The Departed
The Dark Knight
Shutter Island
O Brother, Where art Thou
Up
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
Lord of the Rings Trilogy

but soundtrack has just horrible
it helped make the movie that much better, sorry it wasn't fast and furious
Drive was like a real life GTA

I bet you loved The Dark Knight Rises.

I love Drive, I don't care what anyone says.
If people would look at it more as an homage to euro style action films and not as a wannabe fast and furious, maybe they'd enjoy it more

It was a decent movie but not what it is made out to be here. I was a little let down after hearing all of the high praise it gets here.

Still haven't seen it but I know there is no way this movie can live up to the hype it's gotten. I will have to go in thinking it will blow, and then maybe I'll enjoy it.

If you read the reviews of people who loved the fiml, you'll see the specific things that they enjoyed. If those are things that you think you'd enjoy, you'll like it

I enjoyed SuckerPunch, too.
I did as well, because I went into it expecting a music video, but for this demonstration I was playing on the board's mindset about this movie.

I am inclined to say you're joking because I don't understand how liking another movie compares to liking this one. I just saw The Dark Knight Rises last night and it was good, but not out of your mind good like most people think. I have The Dark Knight an 8/10 and Rises a 7/10.
The last movie I watched that I thoroughly enjoyed was, shite I can't even tell you... Maybe Law Abiding Citizen? I'm sure I've seen some more but I can usually like any movie but Drive just seemed awkward and a lot of times out of place... I can't really explain it, but the way some of you described it maybe it's your cup of tea... Just wasn't mine

No. We all need to agree with our opinions on movies around here or we will have chaos. So suck it up, watch it again, come back and say you loved it.

It was enjoyable, but not nearly as good as this board thinks it was.

It's every bit as enjoyable and good as I think it is

I agree 100%. I felt like an hour and a half had been stolen from my life after I dedicted it to that awful movie!

Ever read the Drive threads on this board? I can't save you, but if you run now it may buy you enough time to say goodbye to your friends and family.
Its a little late for me to come in and bash the OP, so i'll let it go.

This movie made me gay for Ryan Gosling FWIW

You are not the only one who thinks this.
I don't understand the love this movie gets at all.
People will try and tell you that you do not get it. I argue that there is nothing to get.
