Loved the show. Finally another show to rewatch besides the Office.

That said...

Aziz Ansari is miserable. How does anyone find him funny in this show? Literally the same "humor" over and over

He was better in the first two seasons. When his character was more about being a bum.

Tapered off in quality when it became more of a campaign themed show rather than shenanigans in small town government, but overall I enjoyed the full run.

Tom didn't get lame until the last season or two when they gave him a restaurant and a girlfriend. His stuff with Jean Ralphio toward the middle of the show was some of the show's best material.

I love how Leslie was an incompetent hack who then turned out to be some political woman hero.

Otherwise. I don't think there's a character I dislike in the show. Aziz has some unfunny standup and can play an annoying character, but I thought Tom was funny.

Billy eichner makes the last season unwatchable for me. But I'll rewatch the first 4 seasons repeatedly.

Yes. And as mentioned Leslie being transformed from bumbling flunky to future President was an ego festival. And the increasing use of support characters that was simply annoying. And the toning down of Ron Swanson. Great show to start; average show by the end.

Without that element you don't get Bobby Newport, Jen Barkley, all the great Washington cameos. So I'm not mad about it.

Sort of. But the season where Leslie is on the city council might be my favorite. I love the episode where she has to spend all that time with Jam to get his vote.

uhhh what? Aziz was awesome, and your only critique of him could be said for pretty much every single character on the show.

You can say a lot of things about Leslie but "incompetent" is probably one of the last ones that would come to mind. She is human and makes mistakes just like everyone but she worked harder and accomplished more than just about anyone in pawnee.

eh idk, his character/personality is pretty much the exact same person the whole show, it's just in early seasons he was mostly failing and in later seasons was succeeding. He didn't really change though IMO.
