It looks like they have to return to the island for some reason. The gyroballs give evidence to that.

OG Jurassic Park is still the best but to call the last one laughably bad is crazy. These are movies about re-engineered dinosaurs running crazy on tourists! It’s never going to be “real” enough. They are popcorn flicks, just sit back and enjoy.

After the Jurassic World Trilogy is completed, I heard that they are going to look into a new series called Jurassic Moon, where someone buys the entire moon and creates a lunar theme park with dinosaurs running amok.

That's why I liked the last one so much, they had the park up and running and live dinosaurs were now "boring" so they tried making new ones.
