Trailer makes it seem like they are recycling the version Ledger did, don’t really like that angle.

It’s better approach than the garbage we saw in suicide squad, that was an abortion.

It's the fall off effect.

TDK set a high bar and even though TDKR is a good movie it misses that bar by enough to matter.

We had retired Batman and a globe trotting League of Shadows story rolled into one. And then people get bogged down by timelines.

Looks like they are going to keep the anarchy bits of it.

We'll see how they go with the jokes. The bits we got don't seem like he'll be as subtle.

Did anyone notice half the cast of Atlanta is in this movie? Does Glover have a cameo as well?

Movie looks interesting but Ledger joker is still my favorite so far. We'll see how this one pans out.

It's Nicholson for older people and Ledger for the younger crowd. That's what I've come to find.

I'm older. Nicholson's Joker was iconic and he was great, but they were still trying to be funny with that era of Batman movies.

Ledger's Joker and the whole Nolan series was the first "what if this really happened" iteration of Batman and the Joker.

Fair enough, point is for most people it’s one or the other. Not a cartoon portrayal.

I just watched the trailer and I have a question

Does it look like joker starts some sort of movement? I see a bunch of people in clown masks outside city hall protesting in one of the scenes.

Yeah, I think the movement is against the 1%. Think occupy wall street.

How do people go thru life like this?

The production looks great, but I don’t know, man. Maybe now isn’t the time for a tale about how a middle-aged White Man feels beaten by the world so he goes on a rampage of murder and mayhem and also has a complicated relationship with his mother.

Surprisingly, that trailer zapped me of some of the anticipation I had for this movie.

Hoping the second one is better.

Tom Hardy as Bane was superior compared to Ledger's portrayal as the Joker.

So is Jared Letos Joker officially done. I hope so. I know they are making a Suicide Squad 2. Is this movie even canon to the DCEU?

Wasn't there some sort of rumor that Leto's Joker either wasn't the original one or wasn't the only one in the universe?

As of right now, this movie has nothing to do with the DC Universe. But money talks

Assuming the kid is Bruce, the Joker we see in the trailer isn't the real "Joker", otherwise there would be a crazy age difference. This will be an origin story in the sense that he is going in inspire some other guy to be the villainous Joker.

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. A million times thank you. Finally, someone sees the biggest glaring problem with this movie.

could see a shrink at Arkham trying to get him to reveal the truth and he won't/can't.

Yeah that would be awesome if he just keeps telling different versions of his childhood.

The mother
The beating
The subway
The failed comedy

Etc.... All different stories and we never know what's true.

Please. Tom Hardy as Bane was superior compared to Ledger's portrayal as the Joker. The only reason y'all like him so much is because you think he died by getting too involved with the role when in reality he was just a depressed drug-head whose time on Earth was up.

1. Hamill
2. Nicholson
3. Romero and Ledger (Phoenix spot reserved til October)
