I have no desire to see this but I think the first joker is absolutely brilliant and touches on mental health/incels better than most could have.

Nobody wants to watch 2 hours of mental illness and depression in a theater... Especially in the form of a fricking musical.

I’m just saying I’m less inclined to pay to see J2 in theaters as I did The Joker. It’s not a hard nope, more like 60/40 against.

Yea, not sure why anybody wouldn't want to watch this. The first Blade Runner is a top 5 movie all time for me. Absolutely love it. Just a perfect movie.
Didn't have any desire for 2049 so I skipped it in the theatres. Really wish I wouldn't have done that. It's not as good as the first one obviously, but it's as good of a follow up as you're ever going to get and is extremely underrated. Very cool story, great acting, smoking hot Ana de Armas, and visually stunning. Visually the best sci-fi in the past 20 years or so.
It's only fitting that it didn't do well at the box office, though it didn't bomb like the original. It'll go down as a cult classic in time, especially with Villanueva getting as big as he is now.

Its not really the Joker, let alone a Batman movie. Its just disguised as a comic book movie. “Angry nerd gets fed up and kills some people” would be a concise review

yep. one of my favorite films of the past decade. they created that world so well.
