Has there been a more popular comedian, with a ton work, including snl skits and voice work, to not get to be in a movie?

There hasn't been one indie POS, that he could even get a guest cameo as himself? He couldn't be the 4th lead in a comedy like couples resort or Game Night?

It is either he sucks at acting or it must be the drug stuff right?

I think a lot of it is just timing, representation and opportunity. The rehab probably set him back some in what’s already a tough business. But he’s still funny and I think opportunities will come.

He had his own sitcom at one point. Also, movies aren't the goal for many entertainers anymore. He's a standup comedian in the golden age of standup.

Seinfeld really never did movies at his peak. Heck really his only big movie was a voiceover and that was years after the show ended.

I feel he’s more on the writing side and doesn’t have the interest. I could see him more with a late night show than doing movies.

They should give him Seth Meyer’s show.

Sadly, he isn’t funny any more and apparently his 15 minutes are up

Blame it on the drugs, getting married, and having a kid, and thinking any of that was funny comedy material.

I mean it was more like his 15 years are up. But I do agree his most recent standup kind of sucked.

His live show on Netflix, Everybody is in LA, was incredible.

No, no, no...

Blame it on Olivia Munn. She's a career killer. Ask Aaron Rodgers.

I'd rather see him do standup than act though.

Seems standup is his strong point.

He's said he loves being in front of crowd doing standup. That's his place.

He is definitely more of a writer than performer I think, but his standup is damn funny. I can see some people not liking his stuff. He comes off as effeminate and childish some, but it's funny.

I saw him do his post-rehab show live in New Orleans and he was as good as ever.

Seinfeld and Mulaney are one and the same- they’re popular bc of their personalities, that’s who they are. They’re not actors, they can’t disappear into a roll.
