Okay I'll need you and/or OML to expound.

I know next to nothing about Dr Oz except he has a tv show and did like Oprah or whatever.

Why is he getting such a strong reaction from both of you?

Because Dr Oz is an absolute snake oil salesman who touted out natural medicine bullshite over actual medical treatment. Trebek is spinning in his grave with him hosting his show.

Thanks.

I feel the two of you may have discussed Dr Oz with each other at some point.

In this day and age of the Mainstream Media making Joseph Goebbels blush with their propaganda and flat-out f*cking LIES, you'll have to be a little more specific for those of us who do not watch daytime television.

All this being said it’s an absolute disgrace Katie Couric was allowed to host after she called for truth and reconciliation camps.

I agree about Dr. Oz somewhat but I will say there is a strong push to silence any voice that doesn’t toe the line of main stream medicine.

I see someone mentioned that Rowe is “conservative”. Rowe has been outspoken on a few issues primarily the need for skilled workers and the “need” for college education. He basically represents the every man and just general common sense. He really doesn’t represent a party but more an ideology that often gets overlooked.

You can say “fricking” on this website.

And Oz is in the news like once a month because he’s found the next great weight loss cure that scientists absolutely love!! He’s selling bullshite to insecure women under the guise of it being medical advice.

Oz was terrible, and Couric was not great. Mike Richards was far and away the best, and Jennings was fine. Haven't seen Rodgers yet, but will watch today.

Wait, he's a despicable human being because he has endorsed some diet programs and, therefore, should be banned from hosting Jeopardy!

Commie Katie calls for the majority of the U.S. voting population to be sent to Reeducation Camps because she was unable to brainwash us when she regurgitated the DNC-sponsored news every night, but you think that Dr. Oz should be cancelled because he endorsed a diet program???

Clearly, someone with your OBVIOUS intellectual talents had to vote for sHitlary and Dementia Joe.

I don't know what yall are watching

Dr. Oz was the best by far and I've never paid any attention to him. He's a TV guy and is smooth with good timing, reactions, etc. Couric was terrible, Jennings has never had personality although he was showing improvement. Richards was ok.

Rodgers isn't that bad. TBH the only thing Jennings has on someone like Rodgers is credibility. I think all of us want to believe our host knows the answers.

I get the credibility part but “knowing the answers” part seems a little much. If knowing the answers is important then Jennings is the only answer.

To be clear, I don't think they need to actually know the answers (or can).

I mean, I think we all knew plenty of the contestants were smarter and more knowledgeable than Alex. But we grew to believe Alex could hang with them on general knowledge (and if not, he postured like he could). A genuine celebrity host would struggle to gain that credibility. Maybe the right term is "plausible" - I want to believe it's plausible that when the host says "no" with an air of condescension, that it's coming from a real place. That either requires someone like Jennings, or someone who is a very natural host and plays the part.

Joe Rogan “and the categories are Chimp Strength, Elk Meat, potent potables, DMT, The Moon Landing, and Pull that up Jaimie.”

Aaron Rodgers was much better than we anticipated. Dr Oz’s speech, timing, enunciation all seemed not Jeopardy worthy

I think Mike Rowe would be the best choice. Not sure if he would want to do it but he seems to check all the boxes: great voice, great charisma, very witty, TV experience, etc

I would be shocked if Mike Rowe hosted it. He seems like a guy that wants to do his own thing.

So basically Wolf Blitzer shouldn’t be the host.

Are you okay? This is such a bizarre hill to die on. You can think what Couric said is stupid and still not feel the need to defend Dr. fricking Oz.

I’m wondering why people feel the need to defend Dr. Oz. I’m guessing it’s because he was a trump advisor? I can’t figure out why else some of you are this up in arms about calling him a snake oil salesman.
