Jason Alexander, Michael Richards and JLD make relatively little off Seinfeld reruns

As of 2015 Jerry had earned about $400 million+ from the reruns (as had Larry David).
———
The fact that Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Jason Alexander, and Michael Richards don’t own a stake in the sitcom significantly reduces the amount they make from Seinfeld reruns. The International Business Times reports that “The three co-stars receive SAG-AFTRA residuals and a cut of DVD sales.” But the publication added that “Those cuts don’t come close to the estimated $400 million per year that Seinfeld and David will earn from the latest syndication deal.”
The Globe and Mail maintains that Seinfeld’s three co-stars get no share of the royalties generated by the sitcom. The paper reports that “Alexander said the three co-stars decided to get tough during negotiations for the final series in 1997.” The three “told NBC Entertainment chief Warren Littlefield that Jerry Seinfeld’s decision to cut them out of the show’s massive royalties had created an unacceptable gap between the actors.”
They did manage to raise their salaries for the final season. But Alexander told the Globe and Mail that they would have preferred “back-end participation.” (That means a share in royalties from future profits.) “Julia, Michael and I, during our big renegotiation for the final year, asked for something that I will go to my grave saying we should have had, and that is back-end participation in the profits for the show.”
Alexander added, “It was categorically denied to us, which forced us to then ask for ungodly salaries. We make very little, standard Screen Actors Guild residuals for the reruns.”

That's kind of crazy Larry got them to do that season of curb then

Jerry and Larry created, wrote and produced a lot of the series. It's as it should be. The other actors made as much as $600,000 per episode at the end. No one's crying for them.
JLD is independently wealthy, even before anyone knew who she was.

Throw George a few million. He made a good show great.

The article never says what they actually make off the reruns, and I'm sure it is enough for them to be very comfortable without doing anything else ever.

I looked it up not long ago and Jerry Seinfeld is worth almost a billion dollars. That guy did something right in his negotiations.
Larry David used to be worth around 900 mil until his divorce. He's worth less than half of that now I believe.

P.S.
John and Paul made more money off of the Beatles than Ringo and George.
He who writes gets the biggest bite.

Is it wrong that my reaction to that is, "Eh. Sounds about right."

Oh I think they deserve every penny. Those guys made it a great show. And Curb is one of my favorite comedies of all time.

Should have lawyered up and argued harder. Fair, next.

He comes off as crazily disconnected and arrogant in Comedians in Cars with Coffee.
Like he doesn't have a care in the world but to drive Lambos and Ferraris - and I guess he doesn't.
Dude has gone Leno.

They are all peasants compared to JLD

Executive producers, which Jerry and David are IIRC, own a huge part of the show and get a large chunk of the proceeds as a result.
Actors only get so much.
Now that the show is over, it isn’t like they can do much to renegotiate that contract to get higher residuals.

That show wouldn’t have been anything without Jerry and Larry. The rest were great, but replaceable. This is as it should be. Jason, Michael, and Julia made tons of money while the show was running, and they were big enough that they could have turned it into lucrative careers like JLD has

Jerry and Larry created the GOAT.
its how it should be.

George should have gone with the opposite of his original negotiating strategy, then success was guaranteed.

He created perhaps the best show in television history.
Every couple weeks another several million dollars is dropped into his account for doing nothing.
If wants to “waste” his days driving rare and exotic cars while chatting up interesting people over coffee, more power to him.
And BTW, they pay him to do that as well.
I’d never stop smiling if I was Jerry Seinfeld.
