LINK

if Alfred Hitchcock. John Carpenter. Wes Craven. Stephen Spielberg. George Lucas and Stephen King all made love to each other James Wan would likely be the offspring

already looking forward to the nun. aquaman. and Annabelle 3. I loved all of the insidious movies. both conjuring films. and both Annabelle films

One year...Hollywood, please just give me ONE YEAR where there are no remakes or reboots of movies I enjoyed 25+ years ago.

I have enough faith in James Wan to at least be interested. And this is the kind of movie you should remake: a well-liked movie that wasn't a huge hit, but not so loved that it is a cult classic.

What will they do different?

More CGI that gives a sense of non reality so it doesn’t trigger people’s brain stem level responses?

This time we’ll get to see the girl-in-the-shower’s tits, and none of the greatness that is John Goodman.

This movie was a very good depiction of late 80s/early 90s America imo

It’s actually very Americana

This news makes me want to watch the original again. Haven't seen it in forever but it freaked me out when I was younger.

Wasn't there a bunch of made-for-tv "killer insect" movies after Arachnophobia came out? I seem to remember a black widow movie, a killer bees one and even a killer ant movie all in the 90s

Doesn’t seem like the type of movie begging for a remake. But I guess they figure it worked for IT.

There were a lot of these made in the 70's. I remember being freaked out by Kingdom of the Spiders.

As terrified as I am of spiders, I actually saw this movie in theaters and loved it.
