All the best moments were Peacemaker.

Best line/moment: “except when what you’re showing off is dope as frick”…. “frick that’s true”

“Starfish is slang for butthole. Could that be important?”

I enjoyed this a lot more than I thought, I went in with low expectations and it was a fun movie.

The humor was definitely influenced by Marvel, hell even the moment when Bloodsport directed the team members at the end was totally Avengers 1 Cap even down to the Hulk Smash bit. It was good to see that they let the dramatic moments play out though and didn't just Bathos everything like Marvel has devolved into now.

Same. Went in with zero expectations and came away liking it. Won’t watch it again ever but worth the time spent on it.

I thought it was great. Really funny at times and great action.

I’m interested in what happens with Sony though. It’s currently the biggest studio that doesn’t have a streaming tie in.

Seems like after selling Crackle and their deal with Netflix, they aren't interested in streaming on their own.

Probably smart for them. Can sell content at a premium to these streaming services as they all battle for supremacy.

This movie was so awful. Legit one of the worst movies I have ever seen.

This is in no way surprising considering the property, the director, and the awful trailers.

James Gunn says a sequel to #TheSuicideSquad featuring a showdown with the Justice League isn’t a “bad idea”

#TheSuicideSquad's Idris Elba wants to make a prequel movie about #Bloodsport's fight with #Superman, explaining "I would be really interested to see why he went to jail, why did he shoot Superman? I would love to see that narrative come alive."

I'd rather see a movie with the JL against the Legion of Doom then a 2nd movie against Darkseid or Brainiac.

I'm very curious to see the HBO Max numbers. We should get them tomorrow

Problem with this is, i know way more people that have netflix and no hbomax.

Those people all went to their friends house to freeload GOT.

Maybe the backstory with Bloodsport and Superman is the pre title scene for The Suicide Squad vs. Justice League. Something divides them, some frickery on Luthor's part or whatever.

I do want Zack Snyder to do his Justice League sequels but he does need to tweak them and WB needs to write the checks and stay the frick out of the way.

Just finished this movie, and holy shite it was a lot better than I thought it was gonna be. Very bloody/gory and it was a well shot movie. Since the first one sucked arse, I thought this movie would be better but nothing special. I was pleasantly surprised.

I haven't seen it, but the YouTube nerds who hate almost everything seem to like it.

I get the feeling it's going to be a "wrong lessons for WB" moment again along the lines of the Nolan trilogy this time instead of the Green Lantern fiasco.

I enjoyed the film. I enjoyed that WB allowed Gunn to go full Troma with it. It shouldn't be used as the guidelines for anything moving forward except Suicide Squad type movies like Deadpool.

But I'm pretty sure some WB execs are going "this is how we should have handled the Justice League" and immediately shite the bed trying to make a Superman be Omni-man or Homelander movie.

That said I want more if Gunn returns to helm another.

Eta: I got a chuckle cuz I saw some merchandise for the movie. I knew DC had told all its current toy license manufacturers "no guns" but seeing Bloodsport and peacemaker figures for this movie armed with swords gets a good belly laugh.

It's really annoying that the King Shark figure is a part of the "Build-A-Fig" set where you need to buy Peacemaker, Bloodsport, Harley, and Polka-Dot Man to get all the pieces to build King Shark

I am by no means a figurine guy whatsoever but I wouldn't mind a King Shark for my home office.
