Again, why make this personal?
Because I'm genuinely curious in how you view yourself as it pertains to your opinions on this board.
I don't give a frick about your actual opinions on movies and tv shows, you're just a rando nameless/faceless message board poster. I do find it interesting how every thread you're involved in on here turns into a you v. the world battle though.

Why do you guys still bother with this? Just ignore the nerdrotic-type of topics.
It's like asking why Roger or SFP, etc. comment and know everything.
SEK is in the same vein. I read through this thread yesterday and the one dude telling everyone they should read, is the one that has no clue. Kind of typical for TD in someways.
Why everyone else continues to engage with him is on them. I definitely have in the past. I offered to buy the guy a mirror.

I’m not a fan of people messing with other people’s stories or stuff to insert their own agendas.
Most people on these boards just want to be entertained by whatever the hell is on the screen in front of them. They don’t think beyond that. But when pointing out the bad faith efforts of studios, directors & even actors who want to step on the shoulders of giants to make themselves feel taller, it reminds some people that yeah, Rings of Power or new Doctor Who really IS garbage, despite the media hype saying otherwise.
I guess I enjoy being the spoiler in that regard & some just take offense to it.

Do you not understand most of us like to watch shows and have an opinion and then ask others their thoughts.
Like discussion?

I see you’re not listening.

Take The Witcher for example. I nothing that show. Never read the books. Never played the game. I have zero vested interest in the franchise but still was mildly interested watching the Netflix series. Season 1 seemed pretty good. I enjoyed it. But as the show went on and the story started to veer further and further from the source material, not only could I see the change on screen, but Henry Cavill himself was makijng comments about the insertion of outside narratives and agendas that were having a negative effect on the show. He was a fan, and knew as well as anyone, certainly more than the writers or directors, of the lore. HE got so put out over the handling of the project, he up and left.
That isn't some youtubers whining, not some 'incel' in mum's basement, but the freaking actor who was playing the central character up & left the show.
