Is this related to Derry Girls in any way?

Sister Michael would be GOATed in Derry, Maine.

He’s never going to live that down.

Can someone please explain LOTR to me like I’m a 5 year old?

You offend me by your presence on the M/TV Board because of your idiotic take on LOTR. That means Lord of the Rings if you got confused

revelation of the time travel by IT.

What? I thought the thing lay dormant for long periods and then woke to feed. Time travel sounds like a lazy plot device.

There wasn't any time travel that I can remember

Time travel isn’t really the most accurate way to describe it

The IT entity experiences time all at once (think watchmen) so while these seasons happen in the past, penny wise understands the future and is trying to actively prevent it, ostensibly making the past the future and the future the past from his perspective

Have we seen a Turtle in any of the IT movies/shows? My memory isn't great

I don’t think so but there’s a ton of Easter eggs to the turtle in season 1. For example One of the kids that survives the massacre in the first episode is wearing a turtle bracelet so there’s some theories out there that it’s what protected her.

The turtle is a strong 3rd place for the best film omissions (kiddie orgy #1 and Patrick Hockstetter offering to wet Henry Bowers' whistle #2).

Stephen King is a sick man sometimes.

Maybe time folding is a better description.

It’s pretty fricking dark but the Patrick Hockstetter chapter in IT might be, pound for pound, the best single piece of King writing.

I enjoyed the hell out of S1. Bill Skarsgard is so damn good at playing Pennywise that I'll watch anything in that universe.

The whole military operation part was plain stupid to me

This. I gave up on it- IT was best when the entity was supernatural and mysterious, that's where the strengths lie. Turning it into a military operation took away all of the mystique for me.

idk I really don't remember what happened in the last episode tbh, but whatever episode it was when they were in the graveyard was so bad. I guess that is what I am talking about specifically. And the girl gouging her own eye. And the military stuff is dumb.
